This past summer I went with a couple friends to visit some family in Manhattan. As usual, Jet-1 Pro was coming along, as I carry it everyday as my EDC. The first night we were there, I went out to the store to grab some things for us all back at the house. It was getting pretty dark out by the time I was walking back home and it had just started to drizzle a bit. As I kept walking and looking around, noticing my surroundings, I saw there was a couple on the same path ahead on me heading to turn towards a small underpass in the opposite direction. As I went my way, I heard an awkward sound, something like a feet scrambling, strained yell. I turned towards the underpass and saw the male from the couple earlier on the ground and the woman being held up by someone wearing dark clothing. I ran over, grabbing my Jet Beam and yelling, "Hey!" as deeply as I could. I began to shine the warning signal and I have as my first setting at his face and bull rushed him. I started hitting his head with the light, but somehow scrambled away and took off. We called the cops and I stayed with couple until the cops came and gave a statement. I got a bit scolded by the LEO because it’s dangerous to do things like that. I understood, but it was just instinct. To this day the light fires up perfectly. Thanks Jet Beam for always being there. Only light I’ll buy.
